The Head of State will participate, alongside some of his peers from the African continent, at the 2nd United States Africa Summit, which will be held from 13 to 15 December 2022.
At the invitation of his American counterpart, Joe Biden, the President of the Republic, accompanied by the first lady, Ms. Chantal Biya, arrived in the federal capital of the United States last Saturday, December 10, 2022. It was about 5:30 p.m. when the special aircraft carrying the Cameroonian presidential couple landed at Andrews Air Base, about fifteen miles from Washington. The Head of State will participate, alongside some of his peers from the African continent, at the 2nd United States Africa Summit, which will be held from 13 to 15 December 2022, in the US federal capital.
The President of the Republic, who is accompanied during this visit, by an important delegation including many members of the government, will participate in sessions that will address many topics such as change climate, security, health, food security, youth…
The summit comes after the first organized in August 2014, by former US President Barack Obama.
