The 16 days of activism with the aim of combating violence against women and girls ended last Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the Eastern Region.
During this period, many activities were conducted by the World Food Program and other Agencies of the United Nations. Among others, a sensitization with the pupils of Adinkol Public School,one of the schools in Eastern Region hosting school feeding program based on local produce;Educational lectures on preventive measures HIV mention; Material support to Garoua-Boulai and Gado GICs made up mostly women; empowering women and girls on local food processing for licensing etc
