According to credible sources, it was on the night of Thursday, April 29 to Friday, April 30, 2021, that about fifty armed men launched an assault on an army security post in Menfoung, a locality of the district of Galim in the Western Region.
They would have left Bambalang, a village in the Ndop’s Commununity , in the North-West Region. They fired in bursts before swooping into the wild. The results we obtained showed 4 soldiers killed.
“According to the information we received, these men were in a well organized gang.
