The news was announced on July 13 at the end of the day during a press briefing organized in Douala by the collective Universal Lawyers for Human Rights Defense.

The date of the lawsuit brought by the young Malicka Bayemi against the journalist Martin Camus Mimb and his friend Wilfried Eteki is known. It begins on July 22, 2021 at the Court of First Instance of Douala-Bonanjo.

The promoter of RSI radio and his accomplice are prosecuted on four grounds: “obscene publications, spreading false news, procuring and defamation”.

This is the outcome of the direct citation filed on June 24, 2021 by the defense of the “18 year old” girl. A satisfaction for Me Dominique Fousse who, two weeks ago, denounced the slowness of the case which she claimed to have been blocked by “high-ranking personalities“.

It was learned on Tuesday July 13 that Martin Camus Mimb and Wilfried Eteki will be prosecuted for obscene publications, spreading false news, procuring and defamation. On June 16, 2021, photos and videos showing Malicka Bayemi having sex in Martin Camus Mimb’s office in Douala, were circulating on social networks. After initially declaring that he did not know people in such a delicate position, the latter will be confused in particular by activists on the web. On June 25, during a public communication, the sports journalist presents, with tears in his eyes, his apologies to Malicka Bayemi, his family, his wife, their children and announces his temporary withdrawal from social networks. His act of contrition will not soften Malicka Bayemi. The latter, in shock and followed by a psychologist since, maintains the action taken in court.
