Cameroon – Higher education: Paul Biya announces the creation of three state universities

The announcement was made on Friday, December 31, 2021 during his traditional nationwide message . These state universities will be located in the Eastern, Northern and Southern regions.

President Paul Biya addressed the Nation on the occasion of the end of the year 2021 and the New Year 2022. In his speech, he announced the creation of three state universities: “It is not acceptable that some areas feel like they are being left by the wayside, while others are making progress. This is the reason why I took the decision to establish state universities in the three regions of our country, which do not yet have them. It’s about East, North and South, ”says the Head of State.
