Ensure a resumption of classes without accidents in the city of Yaoundé. This is the purpose of the new deployment of national security elements observed in the political capital since Monday, September 5, 2022, the day of the effective start of the 2022-2023 school year in Cameroon.
The teams in the field are made up of investigators, observation agents, road traffic officers on foot and on motorcycles. “The work began with raising awareness of our men 48 hours before, on the extent and sensitivity of this period. We then proceeded to organize the service so that it was set up on Monday morning at 5:45 a.m.,” reassures the chief commissioner El Hadj Adamou Baba, commander of the regional public road and traffic grouping of the Center in the columns of Cameroon Tribune of Tuesday, September 6th.
“Our meeting is being held in a security context marked by various threats and upheavals in certain parts of the country, particularly in the Far North, North West and South West regions. We must be fully aware that the security of the country on the occasion of the start of the school year throughout our national territory and that special vigilance must be observed at the level of our borders, both land, sea and air” hammered Joseph Beti Assomo, Minister Delegate to the Presidency of the Republic in charge of Defense (Mindef) during the security meeting held in Yaoundé on August 29, 2022 on the instructions of the President of the Republic Paul Biya.
