South-West: separatists kill four people, including an employee of the agri-food company Pamol

A militia leader under the war’s name of “Field Marshall Focus” has, in a video clip from Sunday September 17, claimed responsibility for the attack on a camp of Pamol Plantations Plc in Lobe Estate, a public agro-industrial company . The attack carried out by the “Expendable Family”, Marshal Focus’s militia, resulted in the death of four people. In a press release published on Monday September 18, 2023, the management of PAMOL announced that the victims were Foin Ernest, heavy goods vehicle mechanic, and his son Foin Marcel, as well as Tiah Rita and Sakwe Olga, wives respectively of an employee of the Lobe factory and a former research employee..

The motives for this attack remain unknown to the management of Pamol,” laments Mbile Tapea Solomon, the general director. Not for Marshal Focus who boasts in his release: “we are asking all civilians to leave Lobe Estate. What I did today is just an example.”

The separatist militiaman adds that his group does not speak without executing. “(We) are there to protect civilians, but if a civilian values his life, from today September 17, 2023, I give him until the end of the month to leave this camp,” he threatens.
