The coming week has been marked in Cameroon by the issue of homosexuality. News motivated by the presence on our soil of a homosexual couple (a Cameroonian and a Swiss). This Sunday, August 8, 2021, the subject was almost at the center of all the debates in our media.

Speaking on the set of Canal Presse broadcast on Canal 2 international on Sunday August 8, 2021, Valère Bessala revealed that social advancement at certain levels of the Administration is conditioned in our country, by this practice condemned by law. “In the administration today to evolve, you will often be asked to pick up a pen,” said the consultant.

According to Dieudonné Essomba’s replacement on Vision 4, homosexuality has become commonplace in several streets of major metropolitan areas. He calls the administrative authorities as witnesses. “The sub-Divisional Officers of Yaoundé IV and Yaoundé V know where to find homosexuals. It is known that there are places where they end up in Essos. It is a practice in force in Cameroon ”, signed Valère Bessala.

For his part, reacting on the same subject on Bnews1, another private television broadcasting from Yaoundé in Cameroon, political scientist Mathias Eric Owona Nguini denounces the double face of Cameroonians. “Cameroonian society has a serious problem of hypocrisy,” said the vice-rector of the University of Yaoundé I.
