Unity Day: Douala in symbiosis

Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, governor of the Littoral region, chaired this May 20 at the place of Bessèkè in Douala, the great parade of National Unity. A special ceremony with two titles: the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of reunification in this 2022 edition and the return of the parade after two years of interruption due to the Covid-19 health crisis.

For these reunions therefore, all the components of the nation represented in the Littoral region in general and in the Cameroonian economic city in particular reaffirmed their commitment to the consolidation of national solidarity and peace through military and civilian parades. Next to the parade, there was the ceremony of awarding 349 medals of the national orders of the republic.

In conclusion, Governor Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua hailed the army-nation cohesion visible throughout the week of National Unity festivities that began on May 13.
