Penda Ekoka funeral: David Eboutou explains Maurice Kamto’s sidelining and crucifies MRC activists

David Eboutou

Columnist and whistleblower, he believes Penda Ekoka’s family is right to ban the presence of certain MRC activists at the funeral ceremony for Kamto’s former ally economist.

Maurice Kamto and his party were declared persona non grata at the funeral of Christian Penda Ekoka. A decision of the family of the deceased strongly contested by the militants of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (Mrc). Responding to these, David Eboutou said he “totally agrees with the family“.

Camerounactuonline.com brings you the entirety of its open article published this August 23 on Facebook.

I fully understand the family of Christian Penda Ekoka in its decision to prohibit Mrc activists from participating in all forms of participation in their son’s funeral.

Let’s learn to take responsibility for our actions until the end. MRC activists and their supporters, especially its cybernetic Facebook militia, should now be on board.

The Mrc has deliberately chosen a political line which leads him little by little but surely towards his burial. Despite the many reminders from lucid minds like us and a few, they obviously opted for this path without realizing that they were doing hara kiri to themselves.

Unless they are pathologically dishonest, everyone should at least agree today on the fact that the enslavement of the political space in our country, the excesses and outrages of language, not to mention the abject slanders and fatwas are of the the prerogative of certain militants of this party who have seriously contributed to erode his capital of sympathy which he enjoyed some time ago.

Blame it on these neo-opponents operating in a pack who have never digested the contradiction of ideas or the slightest criticism against their leader and who consequently do not skimp on any means to silence their opponents …

Christian Penda Ekoka was one of their victims. Having voluntarily agreed to lead Operation Survival Cameroon and for having expressed reservations about its accounting management, Aficionados and their Facebook-version hired digital press have gone to mobilize all forms of insults and abject qualifiers to rig the one they- themselves, considered a few weeks earlier, to be the best economist on the planet.

Testimonies which emerge from the last months of Penda Ekoka in the land of the living indicate that man will not have digested this cabal that he could not explain. Worse, he was so disappointed with the complicit silence of his ally, Professor Maurice Kamto, who silently contemplated this slanderous orgy plotted and maintained by his militants.

It is at this moment (oddly) that his illness will reveal itself, which today leads us to sing his requiem. The family of Christian Penda Ekoka, who observed the loss of their son in painful silence and who certainly heard his secrets, has not forgotten anything. They saw the wizards in a presumptuous way, all shame drunk and as if struck with amnesia return to the remains of their victim sticking “RIP” of the curse! After so many insults? After so many abject slanders? After so many outrages and language excesses? Christian Penda Ekoka’s biological family and political (acting) family said no because it’s all too easy to shed crocodile tears and stick soulless “RIPs” on someone you’ve been guilty of the most infamous persecutions!

“The sorcerer always forgets his victims, but the victims and the children of the victims never forget the sorcerer”.
