Martin Mbarga Nguele, the Delegate General for National Security informs the public that there is only one online pre-enrollment website for the new Cameroonian biometric passport production system.

The new biometric passports entered into force on July 1, 2021. Thanks to a decree signed by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya, the procedures for obtaining this precious travel document have undergone profound changes. Gone are the administrative red tape that favored corruption and lengthened delivery times. From now on, it takes 2 days to get back in possession of your biometric passport. However, a very strict procedure must be observed.

Cyber criminals wereted no time in launching the scam for the online pre-enrollment stage of Cameroon’s new biometric passport production system. The seekers of this new deal travel document have been deceived by some of these cyber criminals. Because they have designed a fake website for this step. Said denounced site is: www.passacam.cm.

The situation has become quite serious to the point of requiring an official exit of Martin Mbarga Nguele, the Delegate General for National Security. In a statement to the editorial staff of camerounactuonline.com, the authority said there is only one site. And this is www.passcam.cm.

The public is therefore urged to exercise vigilance and responsibility in the face of bogus online pre-enrollment sites created by cybercriminals who have the sole purpose of scamming users seeking passports,” wrote the DGSN.
