The symbolic ribbon was cut this Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the presence of political and administrative authorities.
Accompanied by several local authorities, executives and notables from the Far North region, Minister Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi officially put the Maroua-Boga road into service.
From the point of view of technical characteristics, the infrastructure has a linear length of 35 km, a width of 7.5 km with shoulders of 1.5 km in rural areas and 2 m in urban areas. Reference speed 60km.
The construction of this road responds to the vision of President Paul Biya to provide Cameroon with the most modern means of communication aimed at facilitating the movement of goods and people.
