These funds were intended for the realization of public investment projects in 2021.

According to public radio, the community of Ndop, in the Ngoketunjia Division in the North West region, has returned more than 100 million FCFA to the public treasury. These funds, we learn, were intended for the execution of Public Investment Budget (PIB) projects in this municipality on behalf of the 2021 financial year. The mayor, Ntoh Daniel Belengka, said during the recent session budget that the insecurity caused by the separatist conflict in the region has prevented the execution of the said projects.

He promises to relaunch them as soon as security is reinforced in his municipality. Meanwhile, many pupils and students from the division have been stumped by the absence of birth certificates lost during internal displacements and criminal incidents.

A handicap that did not allow them to compose exams and competitions, or enroll in kindergarten for toddlers. The Board is committed to finding solutions to these challenges in the current fiscal year. In the meantime, the mayor encourages his populations to work for the return to peace so that development projects are fully executed.
