Traffic was disrupted during the day of Monday, September 20, 2021 by municipal councilors of this Sub divisional municipality, no doubt exasperated by the dysfunctions that punctuate the renewal of the basic organs of the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian People.

The road was blocked on Monday in Kon-Yambetta in the Mbam-et-Inoubou division on the Yaoundé-Bafoussam axis. In the background, the members of the flame party of the canton denounce the injustices observed in the process of renewal of the grassroots bodies: “Corrupted CPDM Kon-Yambetta Commission“, could one read on one of the signs prepared for this occasion.

Dressed with the Party’s uniform, they blocked traffic until the arrival of the forces of the Subdivisional Officer of Kon-Yambetta, who asked them to clear the road.

In a video that has gone viral on the web, we see men dressed in the outfits of the ruling party, signs in hand, and on which we can read: “Corrupted CPDM Kon-Yambetta Commission“. It also shows a man in uniform using arguments to try to bring the protesters to their senses. “The road belongs to the state. You are not going to prevent Cameroonians from enjoying their rights to the detriment of your own interests. Mr. Councilors clear the road. If you have any claims to make, contact your various officials, ”said the gendarme.

At the latest news, these activists of the ruling party who expressed their fed-up have complied with the law and released the public thoroughfare while waiting to resolve internal conflicts: “Dirty laundry is washed in the family”, we are in the habit of saying.
