Cameroon-Anglophone Crisis: The Divisional Officers of Mezam, Ngoketunjia and Donga Mantung prohibit any Public Manifestation

After the Divisional Officers of Mezam and Ngohketunjia, the Divisional Officer of Donga Mantung also prohibit all public demonstrations. The decision was made on September 26, 2021.

Like his colleagues from Mezam and Ngoketunjia, the Divisional Officer of Ngoketunjia in the North West region has also banned all public demonstrations. He specifies that violators of this decision expose themselves to the law.

The decision of the administrative authority comes a few days before October 1. It should be remembered that on the 01st October 2017, thousands of English speakers went to the streets of several cities in the two regions of the North West and South West to proclaim the independence of “Ambazonia”.
