Anglophone crisis: the kidnappers demand the release of 75 separatist fighters to release Senator Regina Mundi

Senator Regina Mundi was forced in a video to announce her resignation and declare her love to the imagined state of Ambazonia.

Elizabeth Regina Mundi, Senator of the Cameroonian People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) was kidnapped on Saturday April 30 2022 in the locality of Foncha Street in Bamenda, according to details provided by Adolphe Lélé Lafrique, the Governor of the North West Region. At the time of her kidnapping, she was in the company of his driver, also kidnapped in their vehicle.

According to our colleague Radio Balafon, the kidnappers of Senator Régina Mundi of the Cameroonian People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) are demanding the release of 75 separatist fighters. This is the condition they set to release the parliamentarian. She was forced in a video to announce her resignation from her post and to affirm that she loves the imaginary state of Ambazonia.
