Anglophone crisis: Several students injured after a bomb exploded in an Amphitheater at the University of Buea

A bomb exploded on Wednesday, November 10 in an amphitheater at the University of Buea, in the southwest region of Cameroon.

While in class at the University of Buea, an unknown object exploded at Amphitheater 600. Witnesses said it was an improvised explosive device. Several students were injured as a result of this explosion.

While waiting for the official toll from authorized sources, we learn that the injured have been taken to hospital for appropriate treatment. At the time of completing this article, the management of the establishment had not yet communicated on this serious incident.

There is a significant deployment of security forces on the Molyko campus. This is a second explosion in Buea within days. Earlier this week, a Taximan was killed by an improvised device explosion. It is now clear that explosive devices have entered the conflict raging in the English-speaking regions of the country.
